1. Introduction

Waykiko LTD (hereinafter 'the Waykiko LTD') is committed to protecting the personal data and respecting the privacy of users. The Waykiko LTD collects personal data and subjects them to further processing in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 of the European Parliament, on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the Union institutions, bodies, offices and agencies and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Regulation (EC) No 45/2001).

The purpose of this notice is to explain why your personal data are processed, how all personal data are collected, managed and protected, what use is made of the information obtained and what your rights are in this respect. 2. Why and How Personal Data are Processed

Purpose of processing:

The service responsible for managing the identity and access of Waykiko LTD provides users with a common way of registering and making purchases or rentals from Waykiko LTD. Waykiko LTD collects and uses personal data to manage bookings and purchases and related rights in the context of computer systems. The main purpose is to ensure the consistent application of an appropriate level of security to Waykiko LTD's IT services, which can identify and authenticate the service user and/or define their roles and permissions in the context of the service.

Additional purposes:

  • Services enabling users to find contact details (e-mail address, contact address book or telephone directory)
  • Selection of users from lists, usually on the basis of certain criteria
  • Creation of user lists, mainly e-mail distribution lists
  • Customisation of user interface according to user needs

Processing is automated and takes place through computers/automated systems.

Your personal data will not be used for automated decision-making, including profiling.

3. Legal Bases for Processing Personal Data

a) The processing is necessary for the performance of Rental or Sales contracts and for marketing activities.

The personal data of self-registered users are processed on the basis of their consent after having read, understood and accepted the privacy policy. Consent can be revoked at any time. Revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent before revocation.

4. Personal Data Collected

In order to carry out processing, Waykiko LTD collects the following categories of personal data:

  • First and last name provided by Human Resources Systems
  • Date of birth
  • Title
  • Name change history
  • A unique identification number assigned by Waykiko LTD Systems (Per_ID)

The communication of personal data is mandatory as a requirement for access to Waykiko LTD's computer systems. Failure to provide your personal data may result in your inability to access these computer systems.

5. Data Retention Period

Waykiko LTD retains personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

Personal data is retained for as long as the user has a relationship with Waykiko LTD.

Log files are kept for 6 months.

6. Data Protection Measures

All personal data in electronic format (databases) are stored on the servers of Waykiko LTD.

To protect personal data, Waykiko LTD has taken a number of technical and organisational measures. Technical measures include measures aimed at ensuring online security and counteracting the risk of loss or modification of data or unauthorised access, taking into account the risks posed by the processing and the nature of the data processed.

7. Data Access and Disclosure

Access to personal data is permitted to Waykiko LTD personnel assigned to the specific processing and to authorised personnel on a 'need to know' basis. Such personnel are obliged to comply with legal regulations and any other agreements regarding confidentiality.

The information collected is not passed on to third parties except by virtue of legal obligations.

Your rights as a 'data subject' are specified in Chapter III (Articles 14 to 25) of Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 and include in particular the right to access and rectify personal data if they are inaccurate or incomplete. Where applicable, you have the right to delete your personal data, to restrict its processing and to object to its processing.
